Zubac (ankle) is out for Wednesday's game against the 76ers.

Zubac isn't ready to return from an ankle sprain, but the veteran big man remains day-to-day. Jay Huff figures to continue starting for the Pacers in the meantime, with Obi Toppin (hand) also helping plug up the hole at center.

The Pacers don't have a timetable for Zubac's return after he suffered a left ankle injury Sunday against Brooklyn, but he was able to walk without a boot Monday, Dustin Dopirak of The Indianapolis Star reports.

Coach Rick Carlisle stated that the big man had a lot of swelling immediately following Sunday's game, but that Zubac was doing better Monday. The team will presumably continue to evaluate him over the next few days to determine when he can return to game action. In the meantime, look for Jay Huff, who drew the start at center Monday night against Milwaukee, to see opportunities with the first unit.

Walker Kessler finished Friday’s loss to the Warriors with 10 points (4-of-7 FGs, 2-of-3 FTs), 13 rebounds, two assists and five blocks.

Kessler has blocked at least five shots in two games this season and at least one in each of the Lakers’ six games. Add in the rebounds and field-goal percentage, and this was a good night for fantasy managers who are rostering the 7-footer. As long as Kessler can stay healthy, he should provide good value for those punting free-throw percentage. The Lakers end their week with a home game against the Raptors on Sunday.

Kessler registered 13 points (6-9 FG, 1-4 FT), eight rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 33 minutes during Tuesday's 136-129 loss to the Trail Blazers.

Kessler was solid in the loss, scoring on six of nine shots over 33 minutes. The center's free-throw shooting was an issue again, but his rim protection remains key to the Lakers' starting lineup.

Randle registered 24 points (10-23 FG, 0-7 3Pt, 4-5 FT), nine rebounds, four assists and two steals across 44 minutes in Tuesday's 125-124 overtime loss to the Celtics.

Randle narrowly missed a double-double while playing a season-high 44 minutes, reinforcing his prominent role in Brooklyn's offense. However, his seven missed three-point attempts and five turnovers diminished an otherwise productive fantasy performance. Randle's high shot volume and rebounding provide a reliable foundation, and although his efficiency could fluctuate given his heavy offensive responsibilities, that won't matter much as long as he keeps producing as he has so far. He's scored at least 23 points in three of his first four appearances this season.

Julius Randle finished Tuesday’s loss to the Celtics with 24 points (10-of-23 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), nine rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Randle fouled out late in overtime on Tuesday, but he posted a solid stat line before leaving. That said, he shot 0-of-5 from three and turned the ball over five times. Randle’s had the ball in his hands a lot in Brooklyn’s first four games, which has raised his fantasy ceiling. However, his four turnovers per game are an issue in nine-cat formats.

Noa Essengue (head) is available for Monday’s game against the Celtics.

Essengue is good to go after sitting out Saturday’s loss to the Wizards. His return could mean Zach Collins loses out on playing time after logging 11 minutes the last time out. Neither player should be rostered in redraft leagues.

Essengue (head) is available for Monday's game against Boston.

Essengue was held out of Saturday's clash against Washington after being diagnosed with a head contusion, but the issue won't force him to miss any additional action. He's totaled five points, four rebounds, one assist, three steals and one blocks in 27 total minutes through his first two appearances of the 2026-27 campaign.

Buzelis finished with 17 points (5-13 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 4-6 FT), five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block over 33 minutes in Wednesday's 133-127 loss to the Knicks.

Buzelis had just 11 points in Monday's 133-99 loss to Boston. He got it together Wednesday, ending the night by tying for his second-highest points total of the season thus far. Buzelis is beginning to find his rhythm after a slow start to the 2026-27 campaign, with the 22-year-old shooting 50.0 percent from deep in his last two appearances while amassing one steal in each of his previous three games.

Buzelis logged 21 points (7-13 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), five rebounds, two assists and one steal over 35 minutes during Saturday's 124-120 loss to Washington.

The third-year forward played second fiddle on offense to Caleb Wilson, who erupted for a game-high 30 points, but the 21 points were still Buzelis's best showing yet on the young season as he sank his first three-pointers of 2026-27. Through three games, Buzelis is averaging 15.0 points, 5.3 boards, 1.7 assists and 1.0 blocks, and his scoring should pick up once his 13.3 percent shooting from beyond the arc normalizes.

Ziaire Williams (foot) is out for Friday’s game against the Warriors.

Williams will miss a second consecutive game with a left foot injury. Jake LaRavia started Wednesday’s win over the Clippers and will likely keep that role for Friday’s NBA Cup opener.

Ziaire Williams (foot) is questionable to play against the Warriors on Friday.

Williams missed Wednesday’s game, which resulted in Jake LaRavia starting and playing 35 minutes. LaRavia contributed 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocks and will likely head back to the bench if Williams is available to play.

Burries ended Wednesday's 128-116 loss to the Wizards with 12 points (3-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 4-5 FT) and five rebounds over 16 minutes.

The rookie guard made a strong impression in his regular-season debut, knocking down both three-point attempts and finishing as Milwaukee's fourth-leading scorer despite limited playing time. Burries faces considerable competition for backcourt minutes, but his efficient performance offers an encouraging starting point as he looks to establish a consistent role.

Brayden Burries put up 12 points (3-of-6 FGs, 4-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, and two 3-Pointers in 15 minutes.

Brayden Burries got into foul trouble early but showed early on that he’s going to be an impactful player. While minutes may not be super present early this season, he is the Bucks best building block on the roster at this moment. He was very productive in the minutes he was given and looks like he belongs on the court already.

Darryn Peterson put up 18 points (4-of-13 FGs, 7-of-7 FTs), five rebounds, three assists, a steal, and three 3-pointers in an overtime loss to the Spurs.

Obviously you want Darryn to be more efficient from the field, but he got his shot attempts up which is what you want to see. He did leave the game in the first quarter with a head injury but returned. He did not close the game which is notable. He will continue to get better, and this is a good game all things considered, but the fantasy upside for this season isn’t very high.

Peterson (nose) started the second quarter of Wednesday's game against the Spurs, per the broadcast.

Peterson took a shot to the head and exited to the locker room with a bloody nose in the first quarter. However, he returned to the bench shortly thereafter and started the second quarter.

Spencer posted 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-6 3Pt), two rebounds and one assist in 16 minutes during Sunday's 123-112 win over Sacramento.

With Ty Jerome taking the league by storm in the early going, Spencer is falling behind in the race for minutes at point guard. Spencer should continue battling with Scotty Pippen for backup playing time.

Donovan Mitchell finished Wednesday’s win over the Wizards with 19 points (6-of-13 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), five rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two three-pointers.

After a relatively inefficient first half, Mitchell was better after halftime. He scored 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting and recorded four assists and one turnover. By comparison, Mitchell shot 2-of-5 from the field and committed four turnovers in the first half. This was his first game this season not scoring at least 20 points, and Mitchell will look to start a new streak on Thursday against the Hawks.

Mitchell registered 26 points (10-21 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT), five rebounds, seven assists, two steals and one block in 38 minutes during Monday's 127-125 overtime win over Minnesota.

Mitchell continued his hot start to the 2026-27 campaign by leading Cleveland to a second consecutive win. He's put up 20-plus points in all three of his appearances so far this year, and he was more involved as a facilitator Monday, recording seven dimes after totaling seven total assists through his first two matchups entering the day.

Jakucionis had 15 points (4-7 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 6-6 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one block across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 128-116 loss to the Wizards.

Jakucionis made a strong first impression in his regular-season debut with Milwaukee, finishing as the team's third-leading scorer while shooting efficiently and converting all six free-throw attempts. The young guard also logged the most minutes of any Bucks reserve, suggesting he could carve out a meaningful role in the rotation and emerge as an intriguing fantasy option in deeper leagues.

Kasparas Jakucionis with 15 points (4-of-7 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), three rebounds, three assists, a block, and a three in 26 minutes.

He was one of the first players off the bench for the Bucks. Had a tough first half but got better in the second half. He still ended up with five fouls in this game. He likely won’t impact many fantasy leagues this year but in dynasty leagues, it will be something we continue to watch since the Bucks don’t have a surefire star on their roster.

Lillard registered 21 points (5-12 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 7-11 FT), five rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes during Tuesday's 136-129 win over the Lakers.

Lillard came through when it mattered, hitting the clinching three with 43 seconds left. The 36-year-old has made a habit of big nights against the Lakers during his illustrious career, though he uncharacteristically missed four free throws. Portland is off to the franchise's second 3-0 start in the last 15 years, and Lillard's late-game shotmaking has been a big reason why.

Damian Lillard tallied 21 points (5-of-12 FGs, 7-of-11 FTs), five rebounds, four assists and four three-pointers in Tuesday’s win over the Lakers.

After comfortable wins over the Suns and Kings, we got our first “Dame Time” moment of the 2026-27 season on Tuesday. Lillard’s three-pointer with 43.1 seconds remaining extended Portland’s lead to six, essentially ending the game. He scored 10 of his 21 points in the final quarter, and he and Deni Avdija accounted for 19 of the Blazers’ 34 points in the frame. It’s still early in the season, but so far Portland’s perimeter rotation hasn’t hurt Lillard’s fantasy value.
